The Academy of Intellectual Property Law offers post-graduate degree and diploma programs in several fields of intellectual property law. As such, the essence – the raison d’être – of the Academy is the common goal of all members to achieve passing marks on licensing examinations in the fields of patent law and trademark law.

Few people understand or appreciate that they may be eligible to practice patent law and trademark law either in the United States or the European Union, depending primarily upon their knowledge and experience, without first having to attend law school. The Academy offers in-depth instruction in the essential theoretical and practical aspects of intellectual property law.

Accordingly, enrollment in the 1-year post-graduate degree, M.Phil.(Genève) in European Trademark Law, and the 8-week diploma programs is open to lawyers, business managers, scholars and the educated public requiring specialized training in intellectual property law.
